Focus on Getting Rich Slow
Now, I don’t mean “scrape by and save all your pennies” kind of slow. Real estate has the potential to multiply your wealth a lot faster than that.
But slow enough to be deliberate about the deals you pick.
Slow enough to be patient and wait for the right deals, at the right price, in the right location.
Yes, this won’t make you an overnight millionaire, but it’s the safest path to true, long-term wealth and long-term success.

Know Your Numbers
I started out in real estate as an appraiser and when I became an investor, I quickly realized that I thought about deals very differently compared to most investors.
If you don’t know what an appraiser does, our job is to come in and give an objective valuation of a house.
Most investors see that as an afterthought and rely on the real estate agent and bank appraisals - and I’ve seen this completely break deals when the appraiser comes in with the real valuation.
The House Might Be Right.
The neighborhood might be right.
The realtor might mark the property as a “great investment.”
But if the price isn’t right and the numbers don’t work out, the deal is based on hope - which is how many investors invest.
They hope the property will appreciate. Hope the rates will go down. Hope things will change.
Basing a Deal Off of Hope
Isn’t Smart Investing.
